2. Desired surface must be clean and dry. Freshly painted surfaces will require a MINIMUM of 24-48 hours to fully dry. After this your project needs to be sealed with at least a single coat of a good quality water based sealer and allowed to dry fully for 24 hours before applying your transfer.

3. The transfers are pressure sensitive. Handle the transfer carefully when removing it from the packaging.

4. Each transfer consists of 2 sheets: the waxy backing paper and the printed transfer film.

5. Our transfers come with a loose wax backing paper which will not stick or damage the print.

6. Cut out the items you want to use before removing the wax paper.

7. When applying your transfer, tape the edges to ensure the design stays in place.

8. Rub the motif from top to bottom with the enclosed transfer tool. Carefully lift the transfer sheet to confirm the entire design has been transferred.

9. Use a clean, dry cloth to smooth the edges and ensure the entire transfer is fully adhered to your project.

Instructions for use

Hocus Pocus Décor-Weave designs are highly detailed expressions of art that can be applied to natural wood, lacquered furniture, or your choice of finish.

Requirements for attaching a Hocus Pocus decor fabric:

1.) a piece of furniture or project that has been finished smooth, varnished or sanded natural wood

2.) a decorative weave pattern;

3. brush;

4.) Braier;

5.) Water-based sealer

6.) 400 grit sandpaper;

7.) clean water

8. clean cloth;

9.) Iron

Iron the iron on the COOL, DRY setting (without STEAM) carefully the back of your

Decor weave design to remove initial fold lines.

The prepared piece of furniture: wipe with a damp cloth to remove all dust.

It is extremely important to remove any excess dust before applying Hokus Pokus Décor-Weave to your project.

Sharp splinter of wood or chipped paint, no matter how small, can affect the finish and texture of your Décor Weave project.

All painted surfaces must be 100% dry to prevent the Hokus Pokus Decor Fabric from lifting or forming air bubbles.

Always plan ahead where you will place your Hokus Pokus Décor-Weave and trim if necessary.

Applying the Decor Fabric: Apply a base coat of a high quality, water-based polyurethane sealer, while still damp, place the Hocus Pocus Decor Fabric in the desired location, ensuring any air bubbles are removed by rolling with a brayer be removed.

Wait about 30 minutes and then apply a first coat of sealer to the hocus pocus on Décor-Weave, wait until 100% dry, then apply a 2nd and 3rd coat, ensure surface is completely dry according to manufacturer’s instructions – do not rush this stage . Once 100% dry and cured, gently sand the entire design to a smooth texture using 400 grit sandpaper. Clean with a damp cloth.
